Stéphanie van Loo, PhD

Stéphanie is biomedical engineer and  holds a PhD in Engineering. She did her PhD thesis in the Microfluidics lab at Liège University, entitled "Droplet microfluidics for single-cell manipulation".  She is passionated about technology applied to biology and medicine. 

She created a complete droplet microfluidics set-up from scratch, from the chip design and manufacturing, to the optics, mechanics and software  required to perform single-cell analysis. 

After her PhD, she decided to create LiveDrop in order to make droplet microfluidics available to any life sciences researcher. 

Geoffrey Holsbeek, Ing

Geoffrey is an Engineer in Biochemistry and LifeScience-Entrepreneur with successful experiences turning ideas into reality. 

He was previously the CEO of Amplycell (acquired), working in the field of cell lines optimisation, so he knows very well the challenge of finding  the best clones out of heterogeneous cell population.
